Description Of ItemAlexander Kinnier Wilson qualified in medicine from King's College Hospital Medical School in 1941. These notes comprise his handwritten lecture notes and some typed instruction sheets and examination questions. These latter include routine tests for urine; triple allelomorphs; technique of vaccination; morbid histology; pathology; anaphylaxis; general instructions to patients with gastric ulcer; maternity and child welfare; school hygiene; tuberculosis; the pathology and histology of neoplasms; sarcomata; innocent and malignant epithelial neoplasms; the endotheliomata; neoplastic diseases of the breast and prostate; melanomata; disinfection and disinfestation; preservation of food; clean milk production; incubation and exclusion periods of the commoner infectious diseases; blood counts; elementary bacteriology; elementary serology; and diet sheets. Includes articles in The Lancet on typhus, tuberculosis, peptic ulcer, cardiac ischaemia and sudden death,1942. The folders are numbered in the order in which the bundle was found.
