| Description Of Item | The incoming letters were originally together in two bundles labelled 'Muniments of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh Medical Provident Institution Nos (Letters) 1825-1827' and 'Muniments of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh Medical Provident Institution Nos (Letters) 1828-1833'. Amongst the letters are labels 'No 15 Letters December 1825', 'No 16 Letters January to June 1826' etc. The letters were originally arranged strictly chronologically. Due to the volume of letters this has been changed to a chronological arrangement with letters grouped by correspondent. |
