Description Of ItemHe writes to Richard Poole on the following: with a list of maps to be used in the atlas and offering to send the whole of Arrowsmith and Pinkerton and any others Poole may need; with maps from Menzies; with a map of the Netherlands which is accurate but needs to be beautified; asking Poole to get Menzies to copy the places missing on the map of Africa from the map in the Edinburgh Encyclopedia or Arrowsmith; offering Poole two hundred guineas for his editorship; enclosing proofs; with a draft letter to members of the church to advertise the atlas; suggesting a production of Captain Flanders voyage or a map of New Holland; and sending a map of the United States [United States of America] drawn by Hewitt who has become 'rather unrully'.
