Description Of ItemHe reports on his experience of tetanus in the West Indies. The majority of his patients were 'negroes' as white patients with tetanus usually got it through wounds 'in that case few of either colour recovered'. He gives the cases of two boys given the same treatment except that one had warm baths and the other cold baths, with the cold baths proving more effective. In index.
