Description Of ItemNotes by Thomas Laycock about the cerebrospinal nervous system and related afflictions. Included are detailed notes about hyperesthesia, paresthesia, different types of neuralgia, tactile anaesthesia and tinnitus. Additionally, the connection to photophobia and chromatophobia is made. While red is the primary focus, a man’s strong aversion to blue is mentioned. Patient examples are included throughout, with three dated as having been treated in 1852, October 1863, February 1865 and May 1871.There are also pencil additions on the backs of some pages and above the ink writing, clarifying illegible writing and adding words in.
