Description Of ItemHe describes the health of his son Campbell and thanks Cullen for his advice. He also welcomes the opportunity for his son to train under Cullen 'of more advantage than any thing he could expect from an Oxford exhibition'. Because of his son's illness he has not been able to do much study. He writes that none of the teachers at Glasgow seem to have any extrordinary talent. He also agrees with Cullen on the 'depradations of age'. In index.
