Description Of ItemPartial newspaper clipping from the collection of Thomas Laycock. Relates to an inquest held at the Metropolitan Free Hospital, London, on the death of an unidentified woman. She was found outside a public house on Bishopsgate Street, then arrested on suspicion of drunkenness and ‘insensibility’, before her death by apoplexy.
