Response to a letter received 26 August 1860 inn which Laycock offered suggestions for Rorie’s brain experiments. Rorie states that ‘particulars of 57 cases’ have been sent to Laycock that would have been enclosed with the letter, including extra notes on age and remarks (not regarding [the organ of vision] or facial muscles arranged in a ‘tabular form’ with private names erased and a number assigned to each case for ease of future communication. Rorie promises to send more cases in the future. |
