The photographs show naked children in the company of a nurse in the grounds of Gogarburn House most of whom were unable to walk or sometimes stand unaided due to malnutrition. Some photographs give more detail on the condition of the child on admission and the treatment which was massage and fresh air. Each photograph is captioned with the child's name, age and the date the photograph was taken. |
