Morrison was the grandson of an evicted crofter who graduated in medicine at the University of Edinburgh in 1913. He joined the Royal Army Medical Corps the same year and was wounded in action. Morrison saw service in India, Shanghai and Malta before the Second World War. He died in 1978. |
