Description Of ItemCase notes about Peter Smellie, age 62, who lived near Glasgow and worked in an iron foundry. He was admitted to hospital on 23 July 1860, presenting with brown spots across his body, itchy skin and enlarged glands. His medical history, including the fact that the skin on his legs became irritated and leaky each spring, is described. The notes are not written by Thomas Laycock.
