Description Of ItemA draw-over, temperature compensated inhaler for trichloroethylene made by MIE (New Cavendish Street, London), giving 0.35% and 0.5% trichloroethylene in air – control inscribed ‘weak’ and ‘normal’. Although the ‘Epstein-Macintosh-Oxford-trilene’ inhaler was designed by H.G. Epstein in 1949, it was not approved by the Central Midwives Board until 1955.
