Also included is the connector for a reservoir bag although the black rubber bag is completely missing. It also contains the Y-piece for connection of the inspiratory and expiratory tubes to the patient’s airway used with this arrangement of a Lack (Mapleson A type) anaesthetic breathing system.
This was an alternative version to that designed by JA Lack in 1976. It conforms to the characteristics of a Mapleson A system. |
