Description Of ItemJournal cutting regarding a note sent to the journal by Dr Masse, of the Hôtel-Dieu at Montpellier. Dr Masse details a case and treatment of a soldier suffering from a ‘pustlo-tubercular eruption’ on the cheeks and chin, and ‘herpes circinatus’ [tinea circinate] on the hand, contracted from the blade or linen of a barber. Six other cases were similarly contracted. Cutting regards the same case as DEP/LAT/1/74/16. From the collection of Thomas Laycock.
