| Description Of Item | Apparatus for measuring carbon dioxide in a gas sample from a rebreathing bag. The gas sample is introduced into a calibrated gas burette and the mercury level set to zero. Then the gas sample is exposed to potassium hydroxide solution in an absorption pipette until all the CO2 is absorbed. Finally, the burette calibration which gives the percentage of CO2 in the original sample, is noted. The apparatus is provided in a portable wooden cabinet, the upper compartment of which houses the rebreathing bag and accessories. Made by Aimer Products, Rochester Place, Camden, London NW1.
